Join us for this radical prom extravaganza under the stars! Amidst the vibrant chaos of 80's nostalgia, the stage is set for the crowning of the next prom queen, with every character embodying a beloved archetype straight out of an 80's teen movie. But hidden beneath the glitter and glam lies a tangled web of secrets waiting to be uncovered. So tease up your hair and get ready for a prom night filled with drama, intrigue, and pure 80's magic, where only the most righteous will emerge victorious!

After the annual Community Costume Parade & Contest, making your way through town for trick-or-treating at select businesses, PLUS a chance to win a Halloween themed gift basket when you vote for your favorite decor and staff costume. Voting ballots will be available at participating businesses all day on Saturday, October 25. Drop completed ballots off at Town Hall (314 Mill Street, Occoquan, VA) by 8:00pm on Saturday, October 25.

Head to River Mill Park for a movie under the stars! On-site freshly popped popcorn, candy, snacks, water, soda, beer/wine, and more will be sold as a fundraiser for 501c3 nonprofit, Visit Occoquan. Tickets are $5, ages 8 & under are free.

Join the Town of Occoquan’s family-friendly Occoquan Costume Parade & Contest on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Starting at 10:00am, Town of Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta (aka Iron Man) will lead the parade down Mill Street to River Mill Park, where costume judging will take place. Judging categories include: cutest, scariest, funniest, most original, and family/group. After the event concludes in the park, families are encouraged to trick-or-treat their way back through the businesses in historic downtown Occoquan.

One MAGICAL day in Occoquan returns, curated by Laine of Lainemindinventions. A free event, it’s an extraordinary day of art demos, raffle for locally made art, scavenger hunt, workshops, and tarot readings. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
