Stroll through historic Occoquan and vote for your favorite PEEPS® dioramas, made by and displayed at Occoquan businesses! PLUS check out the community-made dioramas in Occoquan Town Hall.

 

Cast your vote and enter to win! Forms will be available at participating business locations and Town Hall.

Enter your own diorama

​

Build your very own PEEPS® diorama and enter to win a prize worth $50! For the 8th year in a row, the community is invited to participate in the Occoquan PEEPS® Show, April 15-19, 2025 by designing, creating, and submitting family-friendly PEEPS® dioramas.

 

Each category below will have one grand prize winner, based on the number of votes collected by the public:

  • Kids (ages 12 and under)

  • Teens (ages 13-16)

  • Adults

  • Team

Community voting takes place at Town Hall, April 15-19. Winners in each category will be announced once ballots are counted (about 4:15pm) on April 19.

CONTEST DETAILS

  • We kindly ask that everyone use the online form to submit their registration. This will help us prepare for the contest in advance and ensure everything runs smoothly.​

  • Open to all ages. There is no fee and is open to the general public. Limit one entry per category.​

 
DIORAMA SPECIFICATIONS

  • Diorama display should have a family-friendly theme.

  • Diorama size should be no smaller than a shoebox and no larger than 12” x 14”.

  • Final project should be easily transportable by one person.

  • All characters in the diorama should be made using PEEPS®.

  • All visible parts of the diorama should be decorated.

HOW TO SUBMIT

  • Dioramas will be accepted at Town Hall Thursday, Friday, and Monday, (April 10, 11, and 14, 2025). Town Hall is located at 314 Mill Street in Occoquan and open M-F from 10am to 4pm.

VOTING & WINNERS

  • The public will be invited to vote for their favorite dioramas in person at Town Hall during open hours 10am - 4 pm between April 15-19. One vote per category per person.

  • Winners will be announced about 4:15pm on April 19 via Facebook, and all entrants will be emailed.

  • First place winners in each category will win a prize worth $50.

OTHER INFO

  • By entering the diorama contest, applicants give the Town of Occoquan permission to use photos of entries. Photos of winners may also be taken.

  • Entries from Town Council Members, Town Staff, and Town Businesses are not eligible to win prizes in this contest.

  • Entries must be collected by April 21. Unless other arrangements have been made, entries will be discarded on April 25.
