After all, with world class boutiques, art galleries representing over 70 local artists, award-winning restaurants, beer gardens, outdoor concerts, street festivals, and more, how could you not want to visit.


But what you may not know, is Occoquan is home to exceptional lodging, all within walking distance to your favorite downtown locations! Below are some of our favorite spots to book for a weekend of fun and relaxation in historic Occoquan, Virginia:



ANNE'S PLACE

A waterfront oasis in the heart of Occoquan! Anne's Place is a great spot to relax on your waterfront deck as kayaks make their way down the River. Be sure to pop into Artists' Undertaking Gallery on the main floor of the building.

THE ELLICOTT

Lovely with plenty of space to relax or take your laptop and have a quiet space to work. The space is tastefully appointed, with hardwood floors and plenty of light. A small deck on the back is a great spot for your morning cup of coffee (or head next door for a cup of joe at The Spot on Mill Street).

THE FARMHOUSE

Gorgeously decorated with a gourmet kitchen and spacious, bright living room (with a brick surround fireplace!). With two stories, this option is great for families or groups wanting to be right downtown.

HARRY'S RIVER VIEW

Another great waterfront spot with a private porch and quiet building! Ideal for a relaxing weekend away. While you're there be sure to stop by Nazbros Fudge & Chocolates on the main floor.

STAY WITH USA


Located one block off of the historic districts main Mill Street, this space is located above the charming plant shop, Leaf & Moss. There are three private bedrooms you can rent in this 1901 historic home. It even features original windows and architectural details that add to the Hallmark vibe of the space.

MCKENZIE ESTATE

If you are looking for a more secluded location, yet still walkable to everything Occoquan has to offer, this is the place for you. It is located on three acres with views of the woods, but still only a few blocks into the center of town.

MEGHAN'S HOME

New construction (2022) with old town charm and tons of space for your whole family! This is arguably one of the largest properties we've found. It's 2 blocks from Mill Street, making it a nice distance from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to everything.
