Occoquan Volunteer Fair (Sat, May 3)

Occoquan is hosting a volunteer fair on Saturday, May 3 from 10am-12pm at Occoquan Town Hall!

Engage with your community by volunteering in Occoquan and discover opportunities for volunteers of all ages and abilities. Connect with representatives from Town Hall, Visit Occoquan, and other nonprofit groups to learn how you can support in areas such as events, environmental clean up, gardening, historic sites, board positions, and more!

"Volunteers are a critical part of making our Town events a success!" says Julie Little, Town of Occoquan Director of Events. "It takes over 100 people to put on an Occoquan festival weekend and volunteers are the biggest part of that number." In addition to events, the Town and it's nonprofits engage volunteers for a variety of services that support the community. Teens are welcome to apply in most positions for school credit as well!

Refreshments will be provided. This is an open house format - visit us any time between 10am-12pm. No r.s.v.p. necessary.
